Visit the Hess Village Winter Market in the heart of Hamilton's downtown core. FirstOntario is proud to sponsor this winter fun event over two weekends that includes vendors, business specials and photos with Santa.

The CPKC Holiday Train is rolling into Hamilton to help spread holiday cheer and raise money, food and awareness for people struggling with food insecurity. FirstOntario's Blue Wave employee volunteers will be there to help with the collection.

Pen Centre, St. Catharines
This holiday season, Hospice Niagara is inviting the community to honour someone special with a beautiful butterfly. For every donation, a butterfly ornament will be added to a virtual holiday tree along with a loved one's name and a specialized message. FirstOntario's Blue Wave employee volunteers will be helping at the booth at the Pen Centre.

Toys R Us – Hamilton Mountain, Hamilton
Toys R Us and Ontario Provincial Police have teamed up for Operation: Toy Drive in support of United Way Halton & Hamilton. FirstOntario's Blue Wave employee volunteers will be there to welcome the community and fill the command centre with toys.

Fortinos Mall Road, Hamilton
Neighbour to Neighbour Centre’s food bank will provide free groceries, including a turkey, to around 1,700 families this holiday. The Turkey Drive is taking place at select Fortinos stores and FirstOntario’s Blue Wave employee volunteers will be on hand to help with the promotion.

Knox Presbyterian Church St. Catharines
The Out of the Cold Program supports the homeless and hungry of St. Catharines and provides a hot, nourishing meal and overnight shelter to the less fortunate. FirstOntario is providing the hot dinner and Blue Wave employee volunteers to help portion the meal.

Burlington Mall, Burlington
FirstOntario's Blue Wave employee volunteers will get into the spirit by helping with holiday gift wrapping on this day. Gift wrapping will be available throught the month and all proceeds will support Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation.

Supporting food insecurity is important to FirstOntario. Food4Kids ensures children with limited or no access to food receive a package of food for the weekend. FirstOntario's Blue Wave employee volunteers are helping assemble the packages so they can be delivered on Friday.

Hamilton Convention Centre, Hamilton
Good Shepherd's Annual Holiday Celebration returns. The event starts at 11 am and is open to the public. FirrstOntario's Blue Wave volunteers will be there to help throughout the day.

FirstOntario was pleased to once again sponsor the Cancer Assistance Program Gala, celebrating 30 years of serving the community. The evening honoured donors, volunteers and caregivers who support free services for cancer clients and families with help when it is needed most.

Comfort Bears provides cuddly bears for children with terminal illness or experiencing serious trauma. Having a bear to hold onto makes a big difference for a child going through difficult times in their young lives. FirstOntario Blue Wave employee volunteers helped at the recent Gala.
November is Woman Abuse Prevention Month and FirstOntario was proud to sponsor and participate in Hope in Every Step, a walk to end violence against women and show support for those affected by gender-based violence within our community.
