Niagara
Supporting food insecurity is important to FirstOntario. Food4Kids ensures children with limited or no access to food receive a package of food for the weekend. FirstOntario's Blue Wave employee volunteers are helping assemble the packages so they can be delivered on Friday.

The Charity of Hope has granted wishes that have given hope to thousands of children, youth and their families since 1996. FirstOntario is proud to sponsor the Charity of Hope Gala and this year's fundraiser.

Beautiful Alleys is a volunteer run and organized group that promotes safe, accessible and environmentally friendly spaces for people of all ages and abilities. FirstOntario's Blue Wave employee volunteers will be on hand to help clean the surrounding neighbourhood.

FirstOn the Field Flag Football, presented by FirstOntario Credit Union, welcomes hundreds of children from local schools to participate in a flag football session at Tim Hortons Field.
The program provides an opportunity for youth to learn from Tiger-Cats players in a safe and fun environment. FirstOntario Blue Wave employee volunteers are helping support the event.

Neighbour to Neighbour Centre’s food bank will provide free groceries, including a turkey, to around 1,700 families this holiday. The Turkey Drive is taking place at select Fortinos stores and FirstOntario’s Blue Wave employee volunteers will be on hand to help with the promotion.

Knox Presbyterian Church St. Catharines
The Out of the Cold Program supports the homeless and hungry of St. Catharines and provides a hot, nourishing meal and overnight shelter to the less fortunate. FirstOntario is providing the hot dinner and Blue Wave employee volunteers to help portion the meal.

FirstOntario was pleased to sponsor this fundraising event that included live music, prizes, games and a light buffet. The event supports the Cancer Assistance Program and their free services for those affected by cancer. FirstOntario's Blue Wave employee volunteers were also on hand to help at the event.
The Gore Park Community Outreach makes a difference in Downtown Hamilton by serving nearly 1,000 guests weekly at Gore Park. They provide food, drinks, and a sense of community to seniors, families, refugees, and those experiencing homelessness. FirstOntario's Blue Wave employee volunteers were lending a hand recently.
This year's global theme for International Women's Day was 'Accelerate Action' to champion gender equality. FirstOntario was proud to sponsor this event by Women In Niagara and the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce to help drive meaningful change and progress for equality.
