I would like to become a Director on FirstOntario’s Board because I fully believe in the power Credit Unions can improve its members’ lives and the communities they serve. As a Corporate Director and as someone who has served on many volunteer boards, I believe serving on a Credit Union is a perfect match for me as it allows me to utilize my business and board acumen while marrying that to my desire to impact community. Having witnessed the profound community change FirstOntario has delivered to my hometown of Niagara, I am left inspired to join the board.

• Consensus builder: I am also a strong team player. As I have served on many boards and worked in many organizations that have been comprised of members from a variety of different backgrounds.
• Governance Leader: I understand the role of a board and role of management and feel I have a strong sense of what members expect from both.
