I wish to become a Director with the board of FirstOntario Credit Union because banking and FirstOntario were my entire career. I feel that my knowledge as an employee and my Governance skills will be an asset to the board. I come with passion for FirstOntario and wish to contribute to its ongoing success.

What can you specifically contribute to the Board?

  • 27 years of knowledge at FirstOntario and banking
  • I understand how a Credit Union operates
  • I work well in a team environment
  • I have a personal passion to continue to make FirstOntario a success

Educational and Professional Designations

  • Studied business at McMaster University in their in-house classroom in St. Catharines.
  • Mutual Fund License which I used to enhance my members’ portfolios with FirstOntario.
  • Successfully completed all tests and exams on a regular basis to increase my knowledge and make my job a success.

Work Experience

  • My work experience consists of 27 years of banking, having held many positions during that time.

Board and Committee Experience

  • Crime Stoppers board for 3 years – a very fulfilling experience
  • Presently serving on the board of Design for a new Tomorrow
    • This is a governance board funded by the government and places women in crisis and provides counseling
